The film observes a house in summer landscape of the quaint Indus Valley. The house embodies sensory textures of the region with its reflections, ever-changing soundscape, and tactile interactions with its surroundings.
Shel, which translates to "mirror", acquires its name from the ancient royal capital of Ladakh. The village was named after the Palace which casts a rippled reflection in the Holy Pond that lies below it.
