From Debris takes the viewer through the journey of Studio Raw Material during their time at AlUla, Saudi Arabia. The experience of the space unfolds through marks, found stones, tools, and plant and mineral matter.
It is entangled in narratives surrounding labour and soil horizons that shape the rocky desert landscape. The resulting imagery is a mirage, moments juxtaposed to explore materiality of AlUla from both ends of scale — its humility and grandeur, its fragility and resilience, grains of sand and rocky hills.
